Welcome to Rootcrown (formerly EnlightenMe).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Rootcrown mobile application ("App"), you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and comply with applicable New Zealand regulations.
1. Definitions
1.1 "App" refers to Rootcrown, the mobile application provided by us.
1.2 "User" or "You" means any individual accessing or using the App.
1.3 "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Lightworker Mark, 107 MacFarlane Street, Hamilton East 3216, New Zealand, who publishes Rootcrown.
1.4 "Content" refers to all content within the App, including text, graphics, images, audio, video, and software.
2. Use of the App
2.1 Eligibility: Rootcrown is for people aged 18 and over.
2.2 Compliance: You agree to comply with New Zealand laws, including but not limited to privacy, consumer protection, and intellectual property laws.
2.3 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

•\tInterfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
•\tUpload harmful, malicious, or inappropriate content.
•\tImpersonate another person or entity.
•\tSpam or send unsolicited messages.
•\tEngage in any conduct that could harm the App, its reputation, or its users.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration: Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and security of your account information.
3.2 Account Security: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.
4. Privacy
4.1 Data Collection: How the App collects and uses your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is always at https://rootcrown.co.nz/privacy.html. You can delete your account and data at any time in Settings → Edit Profile → Delete Account.
4.2 Compliance with New Zealand Privacy Laws: All personal data collected will comply with the Privacy Act 2020 of New Zealand.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership: All content, logos, and trademarks within the App are owned by us or licensed to us.
5.2 User Content: By submitting content through the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display your content in connection with the App. You retain ownership of your content but grant us the right to use it.
6. Disclaimer
6.1 "As-Is" Basis: The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding its accuracy, reliability, or availability.
6.2 Not a Medical Service: The App offers spiritual and meditation practices for information and personal development. It is not a medical service and does not replace professional care. If you are in crisis in New Zealand, call 111 in an emergency, or free call or text 1737 any time.
6.3 AI Features: Mark AI and other AI features are an AI, not a counsellor or medical professional, and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for medical, legal or financial decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App or via email, and your continued use of the App signifies acceptance of the updated Terms. The effective date of updated Terms will be clearly stated.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
11. Mobile Application License
11.1 License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
11.2 Restrictions: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
12. Social Media
12.1 If the App integrates with social media platforms, you agree to comply with the terms of those platforms.
12.2 You are solely responsible for any content shared from the App to social media accounts.
13. Third-Party Websites and Content
13.1 The App may include links to third-party websites or display third-party content.
13.2 We do not control or endorse third-party websites or content and are not responsible for their accuracy, reliability, or practices.
